AVIS movie nights “Ten exceptional trips”
There is fierce competition in the Latvian car-rental market. Despite being a long-established player, the car-rental company AVIS isn’t well recognised. How to stand out from the competitors and build a brand image to promote brand recognition? Daring to be different, AVIS reached out to its audiences through what Latvians love most– culture. AVIS, in cooperation with the cinematographic hub Splendid Palace, organised road movie nights, providing unique movie adventures with unique ride-along stories before each screening. Together with the artist Alise Kra exclusive visuals were commissioned– hand-drawn graphic artwork of movie posters and animated video for social networks, media and cinema. Gathering 2190+ viewers, reaching 116+ unpaid media publications and 375 302 social media users, AVIS movie nights achieved the initial goal.
